Just about an hour’s drive from San Juan, you’ll find El Yunque Rain Forrest, Luquillo Beach and the wonders of Fajardo's bio-luminescent Bay and ferries to the Spanish Virgin Islands of Culebra and Vieques. Further down the east coast, you'l find Puerto Rico’s ‘undiscovered’ Caribbean in the towns of Yabucoa, Maunabo and Patillas. You won’t find fancy resorts or the endless condos that have taken over many of Puerto Rico’s more developed beaches.
