East Coast: El Yunque & Luquillo Beach

Easily accessible from the San Juan Metro Area, just take route #3 directly from the airport to the small hotels of Eastern Puerto Rico. The new Route #66 toll road makes the trip even faster! Great beaches, water sports and the ferries to our ‘Spanish Virgin Islands’ of Culebra and Vieques are easy reach in Fajardo.  These inns that are located in the foothills of the El Yunque rainforest put you in easy reach of everything!  You’re also just minutes from Luquillo Beach – perhaps the most famous beach in Puerto Rico!

UPDATE: The East Coast of Puerto Rico now has a new airport! The Fajardo airport has moved to the former Roosevelt Roads Airbase and the new Jose Aponte de la Torre Airport (Airport Code JAT).
